NWO Open Swim Meet ~ April 9-11, 2010

Post Meet update: thanks to all the volunteers who helped us to put together and run another successful NWO Meet. Special thanks to Carolyn Inookee, Meet Manager and Past President and to Laura Farrell, Officials Coordinator/Meet Manager. A big round of applause to all the parents from visiting clubs who came forward to officiate over the weekend. We couldn’t have done it without you!

All KSS competitive swimmers and many KSS Junior Sharks swimmers have been invited to compete in teh KSS sponsored NWO Open Swim Meet right here in Kenora on April 9, 10 & 11, 2010. All swimmers should have received an entry sheet showing the events that they would be entered into, the swim meet fees due and the ENTRY DEADLINE of Wednesday March 31, 2010. Please make certain that you turn in our swim meet fees and entry sheet prior to or by the deadline. We are expecting a fairly large entry into our meet; Thunder Bay is bringing a whole bus load of swimmers and Manta Swim Club (Winnipeg) has confirmed that they will be sending swimmers to our meet, so the level of competition will be quite good. We would also like to encourage all our swimmers and parents to attend the annual Dinner & Social scheduled for Saturday PM at the Kenora Ski Hill. Our annual NWO Regional Awards will be presented and Team NWO for the Ontario Summer Games scheduled for August 2010 in Sudbury will be announced and introduced to everyone.
