NWO Regional Championship Swim Meet

This is our annual NWO Regional Championship Swim Meet. We had 26 Sharks head to Thunder Bay to show them what Kenora is made of.

What a fantastic weekend for the KSS. The bus ride was fun (if uneventful), and the swim meet sessions were fairly short and very well run. Our KSS swimmers can be very proud of how they swam. We placed second in the meet behind Thunder Bay, but I believe we swam very strongly and the score was really due to a “numbers game”, as the Thunderbolts outnumbered our Sharks swimmers by quite a few bodies. The following Sharks Swimmers won their respective Age Groups High Point Awards: Girls 10 & Under ~ Winnie Boucha; Girls 11 + 12 ~ Keely Mash; Girls 13 + 14 ~ Paige Murphy; Boys 12 + 13 ~ Bryce Jones and Boys 16 & Over ~ Ronan Cameron. In addition we had a whole bunch of swimmers who won medals during the weekend. In fact each of our 26 swimmers scored in the swim meet which is an indication of our swimmers ability and how well they swam. Well done swimmers. You can all be very proud of your efforts!!!!!!!!!
