FFAST Winter Chill Swim Meet

This has traditionally been a good, low key NWO Regional meet which is a perfect venue for our younger swimmers to try new events (longer events such as the 400  and 800  Free plus the 400 IM, and to sharpen all skills prior to our NWO Regional Championships scheduled for later in the month of February in Thunder Bay. I know that $’s are a concern to all KSS families; please make an effort to compete in Fort Frances for at least one meet session, and then for sure make the trip on the KSS bus to our NWO Regional Championships in Thunder Bay.

 Session Times and Events:

Session 1  ~  Friday February 5/10     Warmup:  5:00 – 6:00 PM

Events  ~  200 IM, 50 Back, 100 Breast, 400 Free

Session 2  ~  Saturday February 6/10    Warmup:  8:00 – 9:00 AM

Events  ~  400 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Back, 100 IM

Session 3  ~  Saturday February 6/10    Warmup:  2:00 – 3:00 PM

Events  ~  200 Breast, 50 Fly, 200 Free

Session 4  ~  Sunday February 7/10    Warmup:  8:00 – 9:00 AM

Events  ~  200 Fly, 100 Free, 100 Back, 800 Free

Swim Meet Information:

• All events are timed finals, senior seeded and swum with girls and boys mixed together.
• Awards  ~  Ribbons 1^st to 8^th Place in all Individual Events plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals to the highest scoring female and male swimmers in each Age Group.
• Entries  ~  Swimmers may swim as many events each session as they choose. Please indicate the events that your swimmer wishes to swim in the space provided.
